Mine starts with a camera in one hand… and a coffee cup in the other.

 

Film was my first love—the place where a single frame could move mountains and a single line could live forever. But the raw honesty I adored on screen was disappearing from the stage we all perform on daily: social media. Instead of connection, we got copy-paste captions. Scrolling became the same scene on repeat.

When I’m not behind a camera, I’m behind a coffee bar. And there, you can’t fake it. You can’t filter a flat white or rehearse a 7:30 a.m. conversation with someone desperate for caffeine.

The counter became my classroom for connection—messy, honest, human. Stories weren’t crafted, they unfolded.
